North Port Paint Posse: A Community of Artists Exploring Our City

This portfolio showcases a selection of plein air paintings created by Michele Moore of Images of Therapy & Bone Boutique, inspired by the North Port Paint Posse, a group dedicated to fostering artistic exploration and community connection. Every Sunday morning, weather permitting (and even after a hurricane!), we gather to capture the beauty of North Port's diverse landscapes. From vibrant parks to hidden gems, we seek to celebrate the unique charm of our city through our art.

This ongoing project not only fuels my own creative journey but also aims to inspire others to join the North Port Paint Posse and experience the joy of painting outdoors. It's a testament to the power of art to bring people together and to transform our perception of the world around us.

These paintings, matted and framed using repurposed materials sourced locally in North Port, reflect our commitment to both artistic expression and sustainable practices. My hope is that this collection will not only showcase the beauty of North Port but also encourage fellow artists to continue developing their skills and exploring new artistic avenues.
